In the present advanced world of science and technology, everyday commodity to space shuttle, essential food to life saving medicine, clothing to environment, and commerce to development are now closely related to the development of nanoscience and nanotechnology. To go parallel to the advancement of science and technology, we need to focus together on nanotechnology research to create skillful manpower for the development of our country as well as for the wellbeing of mankind.

Many of Bangladeshi researchers from different universities and R&Ds of various companies at home and abroad are currently involving in nanotechnology related research. Most of them are publishing their outstanding research works in renowned journals and contributing to innovating smart devices and technologies. Many entrepreneurs are investing to produce nanomaterials, to develop new technologies, or to commercialize nanotechnology based equipment and devices in Bangladesh. Many students have great interests in nanoscience and nanotechnology research and hence, are looking for potential mentors or useful guidelines. Bangladesh Nano Society (BNS) is a platform where all Bangladeshi nanoscientists from home and abroad, from academy and industry can get together, share their research output and ideas among themselves as well as to collaborate each other. Students of nanoscience and technology can get cooperation from the members of the society. Investors can consult with experts to develop their R&D’s using institutional Labs and expand their business as well. Industry-Academy collaboration can be made through Bangladesh Nano Society.
